Introduction:
Why do I select this topic??

Why do I choose the relationship between Costa Rica and China as my topic? That is an easy question. I have a very strong connection to this two countries, I was born in Costa Rica, which is a country I love, and my parents are from China, which is a country I admire. A person will always love the country in which he or she were born, is justnatural. But to admire a country you need more special reasons. The fact that my parents both come from China has created a special bond between me and this country. I am familiar with the customs, the culture and even the language; I’m able to speak Cantonese, thanks to my parents, and Mandarin. Coming from a country in the west hemisphere I know how different and strange the culture in China may seemover there, but at the same time, having all this knowledge has just make me realize how amazing and interesting China is. I admire their thousands year culture, history but overall, how China has become one of the most important countries economically in such a short time, something that is worth noticing and that has great importance over the world. That is why I want to know more about therelationship about these two countries, the country from where I was born, and the country from where my origins come from.
