1. Description

This course is an initial English program for kids between 9 and 11 years old. The main purpose is to expose kids to the language, so they can learn basic English structures and new vocabulary words to communicate properly all of these will be taught, through interactive games, dialogues, pair work and using visual aids. Students willpronounce and identify key expressions and structures through listening and reading activities. In this way, the process of learning will become natural and interesting for them.

2. Justification
This course is one of eight levels of the kids program, which pretends to introduce the foreign language with appropriate techniques, allowing our kids to open to new opportunities and perspectives thatthey might have never encountered before. Students in this course will learn the foundations of English, knowing that in our time speaking English is an elemental skill for the future personal and professional development of individuals. The most significant of development for children stage is from early childhood up to twelve years old thus, giving them the right stimuli will be very importantso they can build strong foundations and their interest in learning a second language will be awaken.

3. Objectives

3.1. General
To provide every kid the foundations and tools for the learning English process, and to develop confidence in the use of basic English language structures

3.2. Specific
* Listening: To understand people introducing themselves and their families, greetingone another, and identify the tone of conversations in different life situations.
* Speaking: To spell their names, be able to introduce themselves and other people and ask and answer short questions.
* Reading: to read short stories about toys, or read simple dialogues and conversations.
* Writing: To write, numbers, colors, classroom objects, food, toys, cloth, hobbies and shortquestions.
