An Interview with Barack Obama
Dear Barak Obama,
My name is Sandra Milena Lopez. I live in New Britain, Connecticut and I’m a student in New Britain HighSchool. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to interview you. The questions I would like to ask you are……
1. What have you done about immigration and deportation?
2. Mr. Obama what are yourthoughts about the war?
3. What do you think about Guantanamo Bay?
4. What did you think of Osama bin Laden?
5. When you do speeches is it because you have to or cause you want to? Andwhat do you think about giving speeches to the citizens?
6. What have you done to deal with the financial crises?
7. Have you ever been threatened while being our president?
Answers:
1. Ihave indefinitely delayed deporting a lot of illegal immigrants that do not have criminal records and we have offered them a chance to apply for a work permit.
2. I have been trying to send troopsback home. In January of 2011 100,000 troops have left Iraq and their trying to finish the job.
3. Well on March 7, 2011, I have signed an executive order making different changes to policiesregarding those detained in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
4. I thought that it was top priority for us to stamp out al Qaeda once and for all. Killing Bin Laden was a critical aspect of stamping out alQaeda. He was not just a symbol but also the leader of the organization that was planning on attacking against US targets.
5. Well I do speeches because I think that it’s important to be able toexplain to the American people what we are doing and why we are doing it. I’m sure they are not looking for a lot of speeches but for the actions.
6. I have joined my economic team to propose aFinancial Crisis responsibility Fee to impose on the debt of the biggest financial firm until American people are completely satisfied for the extraordinary help they provide to Wall Street.
