Edgar Allan Poe Analysis

Edgar´s life and attitude:

Edgar was a very complicated man with a very complicated life, I am going to mention some of the characteristics that represent his life andit´s complications.
First her dad and mom died when he was not very old.
He went to live with a tutor that owned a tobacco shop, and also died some years after Edgar lived with him.
When he enteredthe University he got expelled.
After that he wanted to earn money so he joined the army, but he also got expelled for bad behavior.
When he entered the academy was once again expelled for badconduct.
He got married and moved to Philadelphia, but her wife Virginia also died.
Edgar died in 1849 from a brain coma.
Analysis
What we can see here is that Edgar´s life was full of tragic momentsthat from child he suffered, and also of his bad behavior problems and other circumstances.
That´s why in he´s readings we will see a very odd way of writing and with very complex vocabulary, so weare going to analyze the story “The Purloined Letter” about a Detective and a mysterious case about a stolen letter from the royalty.

Comparison of the characters
The story is narrated in Paris, where a royalty letter wasstolen in a very mysterious way.
Det. Dupin is the principal character which is leading the investigation according to some clues that lead to nothing. He is a very smart man, very professional and wellprepared for the job. He starts searching for the letter at the beginning but when he finds it he tricks everyone to get money from the Prefect in exchange for the letter.
Minister D is the principalsuspect of the missing letter and is blamed in the story for the crime.
Prefect G is a very dedicated man to his job, he makes everything he can do to find the letter but he´s not that smart at the...
