RESUMEN
La sensibilización ambiental es una necesidad compartida, pero para el logro de
ésta se requiere el compromiso de todoslos actores sociales, y en especial del
docente, quien debe ser el primer promotor y defensor de las actividades ambientales,
si no sensibilizamos al docente todo cambio de actitud y aptitud será más largo, el
docente es generador de cambio y ejemplo a seguir, por cuanto es quien facilitará el
cambio y la sensibilización de la sociedad. Con esta investigación se valoró la
educación ambientalcomo estrategia de sensibilización y construcción del
conocimiento de la comunidad universitaria de la Universidad Nacional Experimental
Simón Rodríguez (UNESR) del núcleo San Carlos. Mediante una metodología de
investigación acción participante, donde los actores y el investigador conformaron
una sola fuerza hacia la sensibilización y construcción del conocimiento, todo esto
inmerso en elparadigma sociocrítico. Utilizando para la tal fin la técnica de grupos
focales y entrevistas personales, con los actores, para lograr la conformación de
categorías, triangulación e interpretación, con éstas se presentan algunos hallazgo: se
puede afirmar que se observa cambios de actitud con respecto al ambiente, tanto
estudiantes como personal de la UNESR, están prestos a mantener y mejorar lapresentación de nuestra casa de estudio, en cuanto al orden y pulcritud de los
ambientes de clase y los pocos espacios que posee el mismo, además el apoyo
solidario de colegas, estudiantes, personal administrativo y obrero en las actividades
ambientales. Asimismo se puede constatar con la presente investigación que la
Educación Ambiental puede lograr encaminar y adecuar la formaciónacadémica
para propiciar sensibilización ambiental.

ABSTRAC
Enviromental sensitization is a chare necessity, but for its successis requered
the commitment of all the social ators, specially the teacher who must be the main
promoter and protector of theenviromentals activities, if the teacher is no sensitize to
all the attitude and aptitude change. Will be longer, the teacher is the change
generating and example to folowing, so is he who is going to facilitate the change and
the society sensitization. With this investigaction the enviroment measure was taken
in consideration as a sensitizing and constructive of the knowlwdge in the
UniversitaryCommunity UNESR Núcleo San Carlos. BY means of a investigation
