INTRODUCCIÓN
Las instituciones educativas se enfrentan en la actualidad a grandes retos. Los continuos avances tecnológicos ofrecen multitud de oportunidades a la enseñanza, como consecuencia de la globalización y la existencia de una realidad multicultural en los espacios educativos, que demandan instituciones y profesionales capaces de alcanzar los mejoresresultados en el proceso de enseñanza.
Fruto del sistema educativo, cada año se gradúan miles de estudiantes que se enfrentarán al mundo laboral o a estudios superiores, pero que en cualquier caso deberán ser personas formadas para vivir y desenvolverse en la sociedad actual, la sociedad del conocimiento.
