EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY
We can say that educational technology is the using and managing of technological processes and resources improving and facilitating the learning process, in other wordseducational technology is most simply and comfortably defined as an array of tools that might prove helpful in advancing student learning, so it´s a really valuable element for teachers to carry out theirtasks. The use of technology is about the integration of the media within the global process of instruction, as just one more element, not the most or the least important. Furthermore, the importancenowadays of the means of communication (such as satellite, television, radio, computer), the teacher is expected to be able to take part in the production of teaching materials when required by theobjectives of the course, as well as in the appropriate use.
It´s so important that schools keep pace with society´s expectations and needs for the rapidly changing world, in order to do so, the use oftechnology must be part of the everyday learning process.
When in your class you keep students collaborating and discussing ideas, finding possible solutions, connecting with other students, youknow you are doing things right, but his is a really challenging task. This can be achieved engaging the full range of materials that can be use inside the classroom, there is so much importance in theaudiovisual technique for education, that´s why it´s very important to know the materials that can be used inside the classroom, bringing the Ss. different type of experiences and types of learning,they never have to compete with the teachers personality and personal experience, contrary help the teacher avoid monotony and have different types of resources to get closer to the Ss.
