The bells” a poem written by Edgar Allan Poe in which Poe’s task was to create in a language and meter, sense trough sound until the sound becomes the sense.toappreciate this poem we must read it aloud. The bells” indicate different types of moods that we will understand while we are reading. In this romantic poem edgar Allan Poedeveloped sounds of the bells as four different types as in different types of time and place where we can imagine hearing them. There is something emotional abouteach sound of each bell. There could be happiness and sadness or fear and mystery
Poe is known for many of his great works, including his poem “The Bells.”
The poemis considered tour de force because is the maximum range that a poet can get with his poem .Poe strengthens his poem by using alliteration, assonance and onomatopoeia.Throughout the poem Poe uses rhyming to make the poem flow as it is read.  At the beginning of the poem, Poe uses the words, “tinkle, tinkle, tinkle” (line 4). Thebells he is describing are small and silver.  Poe uses longer and stronger words to describe large, steel bells The lines are longer and read slower.
Edgar Allan Poeuses another sound device, assonance, in his poem. Like the other sound devices, assonance is apparent in many occasions throughout the poem. One example of assonance in“The Bells” is seen in the words, “moaning and groaning”
In the poem poe starts the first stanza with a very romantic writing ,“while the stars that over sprinkle ,all the heavens seem to twinkle with a cristalyne delight, keeping time ,time ,time., and if you read this lines loudly , they are creating a good sense of sound.
