The American Hitler, known as Charles Manson caused pandemonium in the nineteen seventeens. He is a horrific man who started a cult known as the “Family”. The Family was a group a killers who looked up to Charles Manson as a god, just as the Germans did with Hitler. What ever Manson ordered, the Family members did without thinking twice, Charle had complete control over them. He used hisinfluential power to get the Family to kill people. His victims were Sharon Tate who was a famous movie star, and Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. According to Charle Manson his motive for killing was to raise “Helter Skelter”.
Charle Manson was set for trouble from the start. Charle was the son of a heavy drinking sixteen year old girl. Even worst she was arrested when Charle was only five years old. Hismom was arrested for armed robbery and went to prison. Due to this Manson had to spend most of his early life in institutions. Charle committed his first crime when he was only thirteen years old. He had committed a burglary at a grocery store, that was only the start. For the next nineteen years Manson committed countless crimes. They were mostly none violent except for a crime he committed innineteen fifty two where he raped a boy holding a razor to his neck.
Manson had just finished a ten year sentence for forging a Treasury check. He actually wanted to stay in prison, Charles even begged but they let him go. That turned out to be a big mistake for the state of California. When Manson was free he moved to northern San Francisco where within months he started the “Family”. TheFamily had little rituals, their activities consisted on hallucinogenic drug trips,sexual orgies and a lot of sermons by Charle Manson. Manson would talk about the meaning of Beatles' music and the coming of Helter Skelter in his sermons. Charles' interpretation on the lyrics of Beatles' music was sick and demented. Helter Skelter is basically a big war where everyone kills each other and the onlypeople left alive are Manson and his followers. Charles' misinterpretations for Beatles' music and the desire for the rise of Helter Skelter drove Manson to cause the Tate and LaBianca murders.
On August eighth nineteen sixty nine, Charle set his plan to raise Helter Skelter in motion. Manson chose three women and one man to do this mission. He told the Family members to get a additional set ofcloth and a knife each. The three women chosen were Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Linda Kasabian. The fourth member Charles Watson also known as Tex, he was the man in charge of the first Helter Skelter mission. Before the four family members went on the mission Charle Manson told them to “leave a sign”.
Forty five minutes later after mid night on August ninth, the group pulled up toSharon Tate's house. Tate at the time was accompanied by her two friends Abigail Folger and Voytek Frykowski. Also her hair stylist Jay Sebring was their that night. Their mission began with “Tex” cutting the telephone wires leading up to Tate's house. Then the four jumped over the fence and headed to Tate's home. The first victim was eighteen year old Steven Parent who was in the drive way. Textook out a twenty two caliber pistol, stuck his hand in the window and fired at Steven's head four times. They had one of the girls stay by the car as a look out while the other three went into Tate's home to kill. Over all the four victims in the home received a total of one hundred and two stabs. Sharon Tate was the last to die, she was held down by Susan while Tex stabbed her. They used Tate'sblood to write “PIG” on the porch wall. Sharon Tate was pregnant when she was killed. Their bloody dead bodies were discovered the next morning by their maid.
