“ROBOTS”

An Mechanical automaton (plural: automata or automatons) is aself-operating machine. The word is sometimes used to describe a robot, more specifically an autonomous robot.

An electrical robot comprises motors for driving a wristmechanism mounted on a tip end of an arm. The motors are provided at an intermediate portion of a support beam which is provided on a rotary base and supports the arm.A Drone is a remotely piloted vehicle.
Industrial Robot is defined by ISO as an automatically controlled, reprogrammable, multipurpose manipulator programmable inthree or more axes. The field of robotics may be more practically defined as the study, design and use of robot systems for manufacturing (a top-level definition relyingon the prior definition of robot).
Typical applications of robots include welding, painting, assembly, pick and place, packaging and palletizing, product inspection,and testing, all accomplished with high endurance, speed, and precision.

Space Robot a kind of robot used on space.

Medical Robot As the level of sophisticationin robotic technology increases and computers become more powerful there will be a greater prevalence of robots doing formerly human work in the laboratory and in theoperating room. Having robots doing this type of work would have many benefits such as improving consistency and reliability as well as diminishing the time of operations.One such robot already being used in the medical field is the Da Vinci Surgical System, a hallmark in the growing field of telesurgery.
