The book startstalking about a girl that thinks that in her planet just like home nothing interesting happened, that day was special because it was the remembering night and all the people burn the things they loveso much in a big bonfire then the people start dancing around the bonfire taking hands of each other this girl name is hummingbird she put herself happy for this day cause she love the clothes theyneed to use this remembering night everyone use black clothes and this clothes have to covered all the person except for the eyes, In the confusion of the dance hummingbird lost of view his father andshe separates of the group, then a man came to her and ask her age she said she had sixteen years old so he offers her marriage, but she refuse to that saying that she can’t because her parents don’twant to her get married so young, the man introducing him to her saying his name and starts Laughing and ask her name too she said her name was caterpillar and that isn’t true then she run away becauseeverybody know that in remembering night the girls that was not a child can’t regret a marriage purpose in this day, she was sure he couldn’t find her because he only saw her eyes.
