¿El amor es un arte?
Más que nada, en este capítulo Erich Fromm explica como es que se entiende el amor en nuestra cultura, y cómo es que lo perciben las personas. Como todos sabemos, este mundo esta rodeado de cosas relacionadas con la idea del amor, pero no es una idea “adecuada” ya que se tiene la creencia de que el amor existe cuando existe unapersona que nos ama a nosotros. Y el autor explica que nunca se va a encontrar el verdadero amor a menos que en la persona haya una madurez en su personalidad, y sepa distinguir entre varios tipos de amor, tampoco va a experimentar el verdadero amor si no lo ha experimentado con su prójimo, o si no lo ha relacionado con la humildad.
