- BRET MICHAELS BAND -
Bret Michael Sychak, better known as Bret Michaels (March 15, 1963 Pennsylvania, USA), is a vocalist of hard rock, popular for being part of the band Poison, is an acclaimed singer vocalist especially the Glam Metal genre that popular with Poison, but his solo work is more Blues and Country influences combined with Heavy Metal. It is considered the # 40 of the "100Greatest Heavy Metal Vocalists" surpassing many excellent vocalists and has sold over 35 million copies with Poison. His solo career began in 1998 and has done very well also especially their new album "Rock My World" 2008.
MUSICAL CAREER ---
He formed the band Paris in his native Pennsylvania, 1984, with drummer Rikki Rockett. The band, which later would be called Poison, moved to Los Angeles in 1984to break through the glam-metal scene of that city. Poison became one of the biggest bands in the hair metal of the 80 recorded albums like Open Up and Say ... Ahh! which sold 10 million copies worldwide and Flesh & Blood with 7 million albums.

Michaels recorded his first solo album in 1998 entitled A Letter from Death Row was the soundtrack of the film of the same name. Has launched the 5studio albums and their latest single Rock My World has been the most successful of his solo albums.

It is considered the # 40 of the 100 best heavy metal vocalists of the story by Rolling Stone. Had a relationship from 1988 to 1992 with Sussie Hatton, actress and model (shown in the video Fallen Angel) and also had a short but notorious relationship with Pamela Anderson. In this new century aswell as back lot with Poison fame, has been featured in his shows Rock Of Love for 3 seasons, which the program has enjoyed great success and has triggered a new generation of Bret fans ready to rock with he and Poison. He has appeared on numerous reality shows from several TV networks and film and TV, especially MTV Networks and VH1.

It was rumored that Bret thinks out a book of his biographyin 2010 and is supposedly writing.

He is currently recording with Miley Cyrus's song Every Rose Has Its Thorn that this will make for your new album cover.

Michaels has suffered from Type 1 diabetes since age six. Initially formed the band Paris in his nativePennsylvania, in 1984, with drummer Rikki Rockett. The band, which later would be called Poison, moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to break into the Hard Rock scene of that city (the song I Will not Forget You, which appears on the first album of the group, relates this fact as a dismissal of the band members their girlfriends).

From that moment, Poison achieved outstanding recognition in the Hard Rockscene, taking advantage of the popularity he had taken the genre with artists like Twisted Sister, Ratt, Cinderella and Warrant, are testimony to that millionaire sales of his records, especially Open Up and Say ... Ahh!, 1988, from which emerge the remembered hits Every Rose Has Its Thorn and Fallen Angel.
