I had been trying to find a way to contribute to student and citizen. I always want todo my best. As soon as I finish my bachelor I want to continue my master degree in the U.S.A. Then continue with the Ph.D. I’m interested in specialize in sedimentology. Also if I have theopportunity I want to integrate the master degree Peace Corp. When I was 15 years old I begun to participate in the Science Fair in a project related to tsunamis. I worked in that projectuntil I graduated from high school. This experience makes me found interest in the geology field. During the last two years, since the beginning of my bachelor I have been learning about thedifferent process that occur in the planet and how is evolving. Every day I acquire new knowledge about Earth and this is what stimulates me to continue to grow in this field.
The curriculumof the geology department guides us to learn since the origins of the Earth and the actual process that act in this dynamic planet. We apply our knowledge in the field trips. Through thisfield trips I`m able to grow as a scientist. In this career as in many others career is important to know English. This was an obstacle for me when I began in the university, for this reason Idecided to improve my language skills reading everyday books in English. Many of the books were from the classes. I have the ability to work in group because this is important inscience.I’m always optimistic and motivated. I understand that if I want to succeed in life I have to create a path through these to important characteristic.
I plan to finish my bachelor in 2015 andcontinue my master here in Puerto Rico or in Houghton. MI. This in the best profession for me because I can integrate my skills and knowledge to contribute to society and geoscience.
