Se dice que en la localidad del Muyo, se da a entender que en la unión de la quebrada con el río, existe una forma de vida subterránea. Dicen que al lado delrío existía una pequeña chacra en la cual se encontraba un agricultor; cerca de la chacra, en el río, había una inmensa roca. Este hombre se encontraba cultivando. Se dice quehabía percibido que las rocas se estremecían y tanta fue la curiosidad que pretendió aproximarse diligentemente y vio de entre las aguas salir un enorme ser muy velludo, y leocasionó un gran temor ver salir a esta criatura y prensar su pie en la roca inmensa. El agricultor, al ver esto, partió apresuradamente a la comisaría a informar a los guardias. seencaminaron al lugar, el abominable vio que llegaban personas y designó por lanzarse al río a vista y paciencia de las personas y ya no más se vio al monstruo, y se dice porrumores que en ese lugar existe vida subterránea.
