Music: Each of the more than sixty ethnic groups of Côte d'Ivoire have their own traditions folk music, most showing strong vocal polyphony (a common characteristic of African music), Especially the Baoulé. Also common are Talking Drums, especially Among the Appollo, who are also known for their Abiss purification dance, part of the popular dance music of Meiway Zoblazo. Polyrhythm,African another characteristic, is found throughout Côte d'Ivoire and is especially common in the southwest.

Sports: The best known and practiced sport in Portugal is football. As evidence of this are the three "big" Lusitanian Football: Benfica, Sporting (both of Lisbon) and FC Porto (which has recently accumulated a fair amount of national and international titles). Portuguese soccer players are pretty much acknowledged Eusébio, Paulo Futre, Rui Costa, Deco, Luís Figoand Cristiano Ronaldo. In fact, the latter two were awarded the highest distinction, as the Golden Ball award and FIFA Player of the Year

Music: The best known style of music is Fado, whose most famous player was Amalia Rodrigues, who also made inroads as an actress and singer in the Portuguese cinema.
Instrument characteristic of fado is the Portuguese guitar. Other stringed instruments arepeculiar cavaquinho (similar to timple) and several popular steel-string guitars in Braga, Alentejo and Azores. The non-urban traditional music has a great variety, with survival of some medieval romances, codes for bagpipes, drums and flute with immense popularity of the accordion. The timbrel is a percussion instrument popular in the interior and north.

or Migasà Alentejo: Plate from the Alentejo region, consists of a mixture of pork seasoned with bacon and garlic to add to bread crumbs in the region itself.
Alentejo or chord: It is a very popular soup, of humble origin, which is made with bread crumbs, eggs poached, cilantro and garlic, which can also lead sardines or cod.
or Feijoada: One of the typical foods of Portugal which is a stew of whitebeans or red accompanied by salted pork that are often served with rice and oranges.
or linguiça: Shoulder of pork seasoned with garlic and paprika.
or Francesinhas: Sandwich originating in the port region which consists of a slice of white bread filled with various types of sausage and meat, topped with grated cheese slices served watered by a spicy sauce.
or Pataniscas: cod fritters.
orGazpacho: similar to Spanish, may have variations in their ingredients but always includes garlic mashed basic bread, olive oil, vinegar and salt.
or Bairrada Leitão: roast suckling pig, a native of the region of Beiras.
