BOOK REPORT
The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas
We made this book report for our English class Pre Cae level, our teacher is Leonor Soto. The book'stitle is "The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas" it is a novel by John Boyle who was born in Dublin in 1971. The book has 217 pages, it's editorial isSalamandra and it was published in 2006.
We chose this book because for many reasons, one of them and maybe the principal reason is that we foundreally interesting life during second world and in the book you can really understand how people was treated and how they live in the concentration campin Auschwitz.
The main characters of this story are Bruno and Shmuel. Bruno is a german boy whose father is the commandant of Awschwitz and hewants to become an explorer when he becomes an adult.
Shumuel is a polish jew kid who is Bruno's exact age, he wants to work in a zoo when hebecome an adult. He has being held in the concentration camp with his entire family.
The secondary characters are Elsa and Ralph who are the parents ofBruno.
Gretel is Bruno's sister. Pavel is a polish jew doctor turned cooker of the house, he is not well treated for been jewish.
The story istold from the point of view of Bruno, the son of eight years a senior military Nazi. Bruno's family is forced to leave Berlin when his father wasdestined to work in the death camp of Auschwitz. When Bruno arrives at its new home, begin to explore and discover a security fence where he meets Shumuel
