Summary
The film pianist, tellshow a Jewish man trying to survive World War II, the film is located in Warsaw in 1939. Mr. Władysław Szpilman is called, which plays a Polish composer and pianist of Jewish origin who is surprisedby the onslaught of the Nazis while in a recording studio playing a Chopin piece on the radio.
From then on, Szpilman begins to walk the streets alone and saw how bad the Nazis treat all Jiws. Butas it is very good musician that helps him and gets deported and don´t force him to live in the heart of the devastated Warsaw ghetto. They struggle to stay alive, supporting all kinds of suffering andlooking away from his family and give them to people he loves most. .
Over time and with the help of people of the resistance and acquaintances before the war, escaped the ghetto and hides in theruins of the capital. The days pass and he is without food, and see how the city is transformed. Already in the final days of the war, Szpilman goes to a house nearly destroyed as abandoned and bombedwhere there is a piano. There, an officer discovers Nazis, but when you hear the music he plays, is so amazed he decides to spare his life. And once again saved by playing the piano so well....
