The simple present, also called the indicative, It is the simplest verbal time ofthe English. It is in the habit of using for speaking on facts that constitute habits or customs.
The simple present has rules, which are:
  1.- By conjugating regular verbs in the simplepresent, should be added for the third person singular (He / She / It) one "s" to the verb bases.
Example:
- They live in London.
-She lives in London.
1.- If theinfinitive ends in-s,-z,-sh,-ch and-x must add, “es”
Example:
- I finish - She finishes
- I watch- He watches
2.- By conjugating regular verbs in the simplepresent, should be added for the third person singular (He / She / It) one "s" to the verb bases.
Example:
- They live in London.
-She lives in London.
3.- Someverbs end in “y” and have a consonant before it, in this case you have: “ies”: Example:
-We study - Maria studies.
Here you will have exceptions too, Verbs that end in “y” whichhave a vowel before them (-ay, -ey). Here you have to follow the original rule and simply add an “s”:
Example:
-I stay - Paul stays.
4.- when the base verb ends in a vocal(For example, "to go") add "es" to the third person singular.
Example:
-I go to the cinema.
-He goes to the cinema.
