Air Pollution
Pollution has been defined as the addition of any substance or form of energy to the environment at a rate faster than the environment can accommodate dispersion, breakdown, recycling or storage in some harmless form. pollution means the poisoning of the environment by Man. Pollution has accompanied mankind ever since groups of people settled down inone place for a long time. Nobody likes it, as far as I know. Too much of anything is never good. Until we build more nuclear power plants to replace all the oil burning ones, electric vehicles would not be viable enough for widespread use.
Nuclear power is the safest energy source available, even with the Chernobyl disaster; it is safer than anything else. Unfortunately, it is not a problemuntil you can't breathe. Air pollution shorten lives and make it harder for people to breath and lung problems ... It is a huge problem in highly industrial countries like china and England. Also write solutions like use cleaner fuels for cars like natural gas and clean alternative to energy like nuclear power. In many cities it is worse than smoking because you breathe it from birth and 24 hrs aday. If the current trend of pollution continues, and we do not take it seriously, then yes it will be that bad. It harms our lungs and it has carbon monoxide which can kill us by taking oxygen. I say that the environmentalists have actually made things worse by encouraging communities to stop highway improvements. They've acutally created more traffic jams, and thus more air pollution. Then they'verigged "scientific" studies to prove that building more roads leads to more traffic jams and air pollution, when any five-year-old can see reality has proven otherwise. Contrary to popular myth, you CAN build your way out of congestion, and even if they advocate mass transit instead of road improvements, it's still building your way out no matter what. We are often faced with noises fromconstruction sites, jet planes ad traffic jam. We may be unaware of it but noise pollution has been attributed to causing a loss of hearing, mental disturbances and poor performance at work. To control environmental pollution, substances which are hazardous and can destroy life must not be allowed to escape into the environment. This calls dangers of pollution. The human population is increasing rapidlybut advancement of technology is trying to keep up with the pace. By the increase of human population, the contact with the environment is getting more intensive, because human needs are increasing. And by the findings and development of new technologies, human can apply them to get what they want. And it's now understood and widely accepted that new technologies would bring their respective side...
