“Let theChildren Play, It's Good for Them”

Many people wonder why children spend too much time playing in fantasy worlds. Many parents have assumptions that the learning gamehelps, but until now there is no researches that showed this. According to Alison Gopnik (American professor of psychology) Educators should let the kids play fantastically, because is the best way forthese can learn so much so quickly. This is because children who play fancifully have "Thinking Counterfactual". Counterfactual thinking is a term of psychology that describes the tendencypeople have to imagine alternatives to reality. Therefore when children play is predisposed to think about how things could have turned out differently if only..., and also to imagine what if...?. Thus,children exercise their brains and become more intelligent and creative. Finally, that is why both parents and schools need to include the game in the education of children because it is a crucialpart of what makes all humans so smart. |

This article shows us a new vision of what the gamecan mean in human development. Game has been defined as a "subjective process and domain adaptation and substitute “for that has a big value as a learning tool. This allows children to develop theirfaculties. Playing, children become aware of reality, are involved in the action, reasoning and judgments made.
