Energy Is Necessary For Human Well Being.

INTRODUCTION

My hypothesis is: Energy is necessary for human well being.

I chose this topic because I find it interesting and we should be concerned about the energy that every human waste even if he/she doesn’t know. Also because I find it amazing because every little thing that we do use a part of energy even if we don’t realize it.

I think that my topic is important because nobodyknow too much or the necessary about it so I think that everybodybody –most teenagers- should know more about the energy because they are the ones who are going to use it later

This study is written for all the people in general because everybody will understand the terms that it contains.

For this research I used different sources like internet

And I made a survey I asked some questions toteenagers between the ages of 17 and years-old at high school and between 19 and 25 years-old at university that provided me a lot of information. I asked them what they think about the renewable and non renewable energy means for them and is they think that is necessary for all human beings.

I also made an interview to eng. Alex Cabrera to find out if the renewable energy is more usedthan the non renewable energy and everything about it.

THEORICAL FRAMEWORK

ENERGY
Energy is the vital force powering business, manufacturing, and the transportation of goods and services to serve the American and world economies.

IMPORTANCE
As we look around we see that the plants grow, animals move and the machines and tools perform the most varied tasks. All these activities have incommon that need the help of the energy

Energy is a property associated with the objects and substances, it is manifested in the transformations that occur in nature as the physical changes, for example, by raising an object, transporting it, deform or heat.

CLASSIFICATION OF ENERGY

* Renewable
Energies are found directly in nature and are inexhaustible, but in this day and age thereare many who are poor. These energies do not pollute the environment. An example of this type of energy are: solar, wind, hydro, biomass.
* Solar energy
Can be considered the source of almost all other energies. Renewable energy which has more future and it will last longer and you certainly will not be exhausted.

The main application of solar energy water heating for home use. This occursthanks to solar panels that are placed on top of the building have a layer of glass that lets in the sun's radiation. On the ceiling inside the cold water flow, which is heated as the radiation increases, then this water, no matter deposited in a tank.

Solar energy is converted into electricity by photovoltaic cells (solar).
* Hydraulic power
It is mainly used to produce electricity. Thepotential energy of water in its highest level is lost as the water level decreases, the water gains kinetic energy, which reaches a rotating turbine driving a generator and produces electricity.
In these changes there is always heat loss.
* Wind power
This energy gain is achieved by means of wind turbines. Wind energy is used to spin a turbine that moved a generator to produceelectricity. For this to happen the wind speed must be between 5 and 25m / s.

In Spain the wind farm at Tarifa (Cádiz) has become one of the most efficient in the world. Has 250 wind turbines and supplies electricity to 25,000 homes.

Wind power also has disadvantages for the environment: many birds are trapped between the turbines and die, there are alterations of the landscape and create noise.
*Biomass
Biomass is all plant and organic material from which we get energy. The wood is considered one of the first known energy sources. Today it is dangerous to fuel wood consumption as there is a high risk of forest deforestation. So is commonly used organic materials and rapidly growing plants for use as fuel.
