English For Tourism In Spain
In the World, 375 millions of people speaking English are English native speakers. In addition, other 400 millions speak English as a second language.This means more or less that half of European citizens are able to maintain a conversation in this language.
According to statistics, the importance of English for touristicworld in Spain comes from the fact that we live in a country that is the second touristic point in the World. In 2011 over 56 millions of people came to Spain: 41% of this peoplecame from United Kingdom. Although the economic situation is not improving, the number o tourists is increasing every year.
As students of a degree focused mainly in Englishculture we could find in Tourism a job to explode our capacities in the language. But as we are learning English in a very general manner, is up to us to improve our vocabulary onthis subject as much as we can, in order to be more competitive if we want to do a living of this.
