Dear Sir,

I am writing to draw your attention to the danger of `The white walk’ excursion, which I had the bad fortune toexperience during my trip to San Carlos de Bariloche the last week.
During a long period of time, my mates and I had been planning a short holiday to Bariloche with the excuse of celebrating our last yearat school. The excursions could not be paid before being in our destiny, and, consequently, we were promised to know them once we met the main organiser at our arrival. Personally, I cannot complainabout her attitude towards our needs as she showed kindness and care for us. However, when she started to explain some of the excursions that we could take, she did not mention the risks of `The whitewalk’ adventure. In contrast, she made us feel safe with the special cloth and the equipment that we were going to be given. As you should know, the excursion is mainly about walking along the snowat night and contemplating the limitless constellations in the sky, thus we must be well equipped. In view of having a totally new experience, my group did not hesitate on choosing it.
Without theslightest reluctance I started to follow the guide, who was supposed to take us to the most representative points of the circuit. At first I was absolutely amazed by the landscape, and I did not paidmuch attention to the freezing climate and the heavy cloth. Nevertheless, no sooner had I looked around and taken a few pictures of the place than I found the guide in a far distance from me and someof my mates. Therefore, we started to rush in his direction to join the group again, but the ground was remarkably unsteadily since the snow, and I constantly fell down on my knees. So it happened tothe rest of my friends, some of whose injuries are worst than mines.
