What is TOEIC ®?
• TOEIC is the Test of English for International Communication, developed by Educational Testing Services (ETS). It is an exam that measures your ability to understand Spoken and Written English,including a diversity of English Speaking Communities. • TOEIC is usually administered to people already working in companies or those looking for a job; thus, it contains multiple situations at the job. It covers mainly five areas: Offices and Personnel, Business and Finance, Housing and Projects, Travel and Technical Areas.

What is TOEIC ®?
• TOEIC has seven sections: four that measure yourlistening comprehension skills and three that measure your reading comprehension. • In the overall, it takes 2.5 hours to answer this 200question test.

Listening Section
The listening sections will ask you to: Choose a statement that best describes a picture. Example: A. The man is delivering apolitical speech. B. Most of the people are working on their laptops. C. All of the business people are wearing black suits and white shirts. D. The man is standing between two male colleagues

• The best answer choice is B. A is wrong because the man is not in a political event. C is wrong because not all of them are wearing white shirts/blouses. D is wrong because the man isstanding between two female colleagues.

Listening Sections
• One speaker will ask a question or make a statement. The second speaker will give three possible responses. You must choose the best answer to the questions or statement. Example: Speaker 1: How did the meeting with the dealer go?Speaker 2: A) Quite well, I can say. B) B) The meat was raw. C) C) We met her before three.

• Best choice: A. It describes how the meeting was. B. is a throw off by using the word meat. Some test-takers would confuse it with the sound of meeting. C answers a question about time not quality of meeting.
