Review: Fruits and ducks- repeat the fruits, the colors and the emotions as well
Lesson: Games with the vocabulary

Material: knife glass, fork, plate, bowl, cup, spoon, saucer
Review: Household itemsLesson: pick up, wash, put away, dry
* Show them the actions
* Let them guess the Spanish words
* Write it on the board
* Repeating
* Say the sentences and let them do the actions
* Copying
3rd grade

Review: Identify names of the body parts of the animals – with the monsters
Lesson I: To learn has and doesn’t have
* Teach them the verb to have on the board* Let them know about the fact that there exists an ‘it’ in the English language (when to use it, difference HAS)
* Copying
* Repaeting
* Explain has and doesn’t have
Lesson II: To talk about physical characteristics
* Let them draw two different monsters with the vocabulary they learned last time
* Let them describe them with ‘has and doesn’t have’

4thgrade
Material: knife, table, glass, fork, plate, bowl, cup, spoon
Review:
* You are sitting next to the table, knife, fork, spoon, plate, cup, glass and bowl are on the table
* You are telling a story (in spanish)for example: Estoy en el restaurante xxx, estoy comiendo una sopa por eso necesito un-> teacher is showing the spoon.. children are saying 'cuchara' afterwards the teacheris saying the word in English
* Do this with every item
Lesson I: To learn vocabulary describing actions
* Fight bravely, jump high, run fast, swim well
* Pantomime – let them guess in Spanish
* Write it on the board, teach them
* Copying
* Let them draw the actions
Lesson II: To use can and can’t
* Show them a dialogue with your partner- Can you ran fast, yes Ican, no I can´t
* Let them guess

5th grade
Material: 11 copies of Teacher Resource book page 7 double sided with page 8, 10 blank half sheets for What and When
Review: Juan and Sara dialogues. To begin class, hand out page 7 from Teacher Resource Book. First read the dialogues out loud and have students try to fill them in individually. (complete dialoguesare in the Teacher Edition pg T14. Read each dialogue in unison. Pair up to practice reading the whole dialogue aloud. Make sure all words are in the correct place. Mark three words they don’ know.
Lesson I: Using words we know to figure out new words
* Put several of the most difficult sentences on the board and translate for the kids
* Model using cup to figure out pottery, swimming tofigure out competition. Use your dictionary to look up drama, then figure out play. Etc. Give kids way to figure out new words
* Have students copy these sentences plus translation in their notebooks
Lesson II: When do you like to do your hobbies?
* Review or teach days of the week
* What and when activity on page T 15
* When they have shared with two partners, they can do the wordscramble
6th grade
Material: Bills or coins from any other countries, if possible (3mx)
Review: Practice money vocabulary. On the board write: $1.25,$7.00$4.50$3.00and$10.00. Have students say names. Require them to be specific. One two five is not okay. Only one dollar and twenty five cents.

* Students will work on creating a menu for their own restaurant....
