La Aurora Boreal o Luces del Norte son un espectáculo natural impresionante en el invierno. Las excursionesofrecidas por compañías especializadas comienzan en diciembre. Las luces se ven en El Yukón, y prácticamente al Norte del paralelo 55 en todo Canadáincluyendo las provincias de Ontario y Manitoba. En Alberta, al norte de Edmonton, existe un sitio llamado Fort McMurray. En ésta zona de Norte América seencuentran unos de los depósitos más grandes de petróleo en el mundo, pero su atractivo principal para visitantes son las vistas de la Aurora Boreal y elfirmamento

The aurora is a brightness that appears in the night sky, usually in polar areas. For this reason somescientists call it "polar aurora"
Aurora Borealis or northern lights are an impressive natural spectacle in the winter. The excursions offered byspecialized companies begin in December. Lights are seen in the Yukon, and virtually to the North of the parallel 55 across Canada including the provinces ofOntario and Manitoba. In Alberta, North of Edmonton, there is a site called Fort McMurray. In this area of North America are one of the largest deposits of oilin the world, but its main attractive for visitors are the views of the Aurora Borealis and the firmament.
