3. What important changes in family patterns do you see today? Do you seepositive changes, negative changes, or both? What do they mean for families, in your opinion?
As the book mentioned, what we think of as “family” has changed a lot over the years. Now in days, there aremore people getting divorce than getting married. Honestly, I see more negatives changes than positives. Parents are more concerned with work than worry about their children. Also families are losingbasic values as respect between them. There are a lot of homes with unmarried couples. Now in days, there’s so much abuse within families that cause a big effect in the structure of a family.
In myopinion that means that people are not taking family as serious as they should. They are not thinking about the consequences in that moment.

I think the best example of both personal and family problems that is at least a result of problems in the society is a lack ofrespect. There is a lack of respect for people towards each other and the homes of families. Common courtesy has completely gone out the window somewhere along the line.
