What would you change of your life if, before dying, you could know what the people you always lived with think about you? The purpose of my speech is to makeyou aware of how Alfred Nobel changed his entire way of living before dying so that the people that know him and the ones he knows could talk about him in a good way after his death.
Who is AlfredNobel? Most of us know him because of the Nobel prizes, which are awarded to people who have influenced, or invented something very special y the different topics of: chemistry, physics, literature,medicine, or peace. However what about the past of this famous character? Before the Nobel foundation was created, Alfred was dedicated to dynamite and more of 355 famous inventions he did. All of hisfortune came from all the inventions he did like the ballistite a smokeless explosive, and much more that he dedicated to explosives.
This character was a chemist, engineer, and inventor, one day in 1888Alfred Nobel was astonished after reading what people that know about him think of him when he died, a French newspaper wrote an article named “The Merchant of death is dead”, the newspaper got wrongthe idea and wrote about Alfred Nobel, the one who was dead was his brother Ludvig Nobel. When Alfred read this he started to think about how he would be remembered, with all this inspiration hedecided to change his will. Alfred Nobel died on December 1896.
Immediately after his dead, the foundation started committing the necessary permissions to make these awards. On the year 1901 the firstawards were given to the persons with more attribution. Furthermore these prizes consist of a medal, a personal diploma, and cash award. After years of rewards the Nobel foundation has had problemsand the cash rewards have descended, but after donations they have returned to the same amount and even more.
