Most people think an underdeveloped country must be terrible: no technology, no civilization,etc; of course, not all of those countries are like that. Anunderdeveloped country has more than they think, and it knows how to manage all of that better than the “first world countries.” Even though a good economy and a high development is a necessary factor, materialthings are not the most important “lust” in the world. I’m from Colombia, a country which its culture is recognized for its happiness, kindness, and also, the love we have for our people and our world.First, the Colombian people are full of happiness, so it can be seen in the way that we express ourselves and how we like to celebrate everything and have lots of partys. People from othercountries say we are the happiest Latins, because we are never rude to anyone, and we always bring a smile. In Colombia, it is very rare to see angry people, so everyone is full of happiness when theytalk to a person. Also, we have lots of carnivals, "fiestas"(festivities), and festivals because we love to party overtime. In every region of the country there is a special time of the year when theycelebrate nothing specific, though they make huge carnivals such as, the Barranquilla's Carnival (Carnaval de Barranquilla), with a century-long recorded history it holds the second largest carnivalparade in the world.
Second, most Colombians are very kind to everyone. We are very dutiful when anyone need a favor, even without needing it; we do it because it’s our way to be and not for as anobligation. For example, if somebody is assaulted on the streets, people would try to help, but if they are not lucky, they still would help the guy to return to his home.
