In this project I’m going to talk about caffeine, what the caffeine benefits and harms.
Caffeine is a little necessary to our body’s because is a easy way to get energy fast.
But in exes can affects very serious our body.
Also I’m going to talk about the dermatitis, what happens when you have that disease and what the causes of that sickness.
Dermatitis is a disease thatmake that your skin started to get ugly like rotten.
Caffeine
Caffeine is a bitter, white crystalline xanthine alkaloid that acts as a stimulant drug. Caffeine is found in varying quantities in the seeds, leaves, and fruit of some plants, where it acts as a natural pesticide that paralyzes and kills certain insects feeding on the plants. It is most commonly consumed by humans in infusionsextracted from the seed of the coffee plant and the leaves of the tea bush, as well as from various foods and drinks containing products derived from the kola nut. Other sources include yerba maté, guarana berries, guayusa, and the yaupon holly.
In humans, caffeine acts as a central nervous system stimulant, temporarily warding off drowsiness and restoring alertness.
Caffeine is toxic at sufficientlyhigh doses. Ordinary consumption can have low health risks, even when carried on for years – there may be a modest protective effect against some diseases, including certain types of cancer. Caffeine can have both positive and negative effects on anxiety disorders. Some people experience sleep disruption if they consume caffeine, especially during the evening hours, but others show littledisturbance and the effect of caffeine on sleep is highly variable.
The positive effects of caffeine are:
• Lower the risk of developing Parkinson
• Lower the risk of Alzheimer
• Lower the risk of cancer
• Lower the risk of gout
• Lower the risk of gallstone
• Improves alertness
• Positive mood
• Improves physical performance(muscle endurance)
• Helps burn fat
• Causes blood vessels toconstrict(headache)
• Prevents dental caries
• It has a lot antioxidants
Negative effects:
• Increases blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes
• Decreases bone mineral density
• Blocks the effects of adenosine
• Insomnia
• Increases the need to urinate
• Reduce a woman’s chance of becoming pregnant
• It might cause early miscarriage
• Causes acne, anemia, addiction, gastrointestinalproblems.
The decaf coffee comes from robusta coffee, the problems that these causes are:
• Increases acidity
• Causes reflux
• Increases cholesterol and heart attack risk.
• May lead to osteoporosis
• Increases the risk of rheumatoid arthritis
• Increases the risk of glaucoma
• May damage some organs
Conclusion
Well I think the caffeine is good because you can get energy of them, butwhen you consummate in big portions can damage yours organs and you can get sick of many types of diseases.
Everybody needs energy but we can get it in other type of foods like fruits and vegetables.
