Martin Luther King Jr.

This man certainly revolutionized the feeling of equality and freedom for blacks, mainly belonging to the United States (the country). From a young age this remarkablecharacter, fought for the equal application of the law to all U.S. citizen, was the color it was. Repercussional leading a protest against the municipal bus segregation was as he began his first major actof revolution, but we must stress that it was always a man with pacifist attitudes, Luther King focused on the figure of Mahatma Gandhi, and also in the call theory of civil disobedience of HenryDavid Thoreau. It was recognized throughout the country, in a very short time, favoring the attention he expected to have, in making his call, through the speech quoted in August 1963, reflecting hisdream'' always'' wanted to change the attitude toward blacks had, and thus achieve social equality and justice for all, but now we wonder. Did any concrete results such proclamations? Like any tragichistory, the answer to the interrogatory in our view tends to be a resounding NO, mainly begain based dream peacefully obtain equalities never put aside while Luther King was a social movementspokesman, however, after his death, other black race groups, chose to use violence on several occasions, and therefore put in distorting the intentions that Martin had in his speech, even was a period ofintense violence and bloodshed, which our character strongly avoided. Then there is more to think that the speech delivered by our character, was only to be in the minds of a few, and lying in the streetlike the blood that was shed in the days posthumously to his death. In conclusion, we can say that the goal of equal rights and freedoms for blacks was not achieved as we wanted our character, but donot miss the influence on the thinking of "some" of the society in what unfolded. Finally we know that full equality is not achieved yet, so it must be obtained after the slow passage of time.
