Poe wrote that every word in a story should help create single overwhelming impression, ¿how well has he done that inthe “ tell-tale heart and in your story?

In most of Poe´s texts readers can find many characteristics that define his style in writing. In his plenty of stories we could see how he demonstrates hisexcellent use of the language and his ability to describe things, and to make us create imageries and also to involve us in the reading. He also exhibits the importance of irony in his literature,and likewise the relation o his life, with all the things he had wrote. But something really interesting is that each word he writes is not just a word, it conveys a whole world behind it.

Thetell-tale heart is a story where Poe’s irony could be fully analyze. In the beginning the author impress us when he starts with the description of a man, that we could see is really obsessed with something,but it surprising how he uses many adjectives and words to make everyone imagine what he is saying about that man. It is really important that every word will give us important clues to find out whathe is trying to say.

Poe trough irony shows the different uses of the literary elements and how all that make we understand his style, a characteristic during the whole texts is that he uses a lotof description and details and at the same time he mix them with the irony causing in the reader confusion and imagery, that’s why every single word is really important when you are trying tounderstand and extracting his style.

For example in “ Presently I heard a slight groan, and I knew it was the groan o mortal terror “ ( …) I knew the sound well. Many at night the terror distracted me.Here we can see how Edgar uses irony when he talks about being scared, meanwhile he is doing it, but this irony he uses here is not just for a description of what he is doing, he use it to give us...
