La trama principal es sobre un piloto que conoce al Principito en un desierto después de un aterrizaje forzoso con su nave. Él necesita reparar su nave prontoo de lo contrario moriría ya sea de sed o de calor o ambas, pero el Principito le enseña a ver la situación de otra manera.
