Ensayo (En Ingles) Acerca De "The Voice", Poema De Thomas Hardy

The poem we are about to analyze, was written by Thomas Hardy, and its name is “The Voice”. So, on this essay we are going to focus on the Theme, Structure and Devices of “The Voice”.
In generalterms, its theme is sad and nostalgic and talks about a man who lost a woman, who was “all to him”, and has guilty feelings about it. In the first stanza we see that the persona is very certain he heardthat the woman, whom he lost, is calling him. And he starts remembering his past with her: “[…] when our day was fair”. Then, in the second stanza, it seems he went to look for her, still rememberingand his state of confusion turns into a atmosphere of confusion “Can it be you that I hear?”; he actually seems that he cant believe it, that’s where a confusion atmosphere starts and continues tillthe third stanza. The confusion reaches its climax in the third stanza, he doubts about hearing her and it appears he realizes that it may be his mind playing him a trick with the sound of the wind,so he tries to forget about it “Or is it only the breeze, […] You being ever dissolved to a wan wistlessness”. But in the last stanza, the persona, a man, is wandering in a wood, the wind blows, and itautumn, but the important part about this stanza, is that he mentions he hears the woman calling, how its expressed in the poem, communicates how sure he now was about hearing her: “And the womancalling.”, he doesn’t says she may be calling, he affirms it, the confusion is not seen anymore. This is the end of the poem, and it ended as it started, the first verse said; “ Woman much missed, howyou call to me, call to me,” this fact made us believe the author made the poem as a cycle, that it started as it ended, an infinite cycle, assuming it starts again later.
Secondly, if we take a lookat its structure, it looks like a simple four stanza, with four verses each, poem that has a simple abab-cdcd-efef-ghgh rhyming pattern. But if we go to a more deep analysis, and look at how the...
