En este libro el autor comienza afirmando que el periodismo nacedesde la existencia del hombre, que como algunos seres vivos se cuestiona cosas sobre su entorno (el qué, cómo, cuándo, dónde, quién), es decir comienza desde sus orígenes a preguntarse el porqué de las situaciones.
Todas las personas obtenemos información de muchos lugares, de la gente que nos rodea, de nuestras experiencias, de los medios masivos de comunicación etc. Pero existe una actividad enespecial de la cual se habla en ésta lectura, el periodismo. El periodismo satisface la necesidad del ser humano de saber que pasa en su localidad, en su país, en el mundo.
El periodismo no se ocupa de cualquier acontecimiento, sino de los que causan o podrían causar interés social. Debe tratar de ser lo más objetivo posible, aunque se sabe que jamás se podrá lograr una objetividad total, puesto...
