ENSAYO SOBRE LA EDUCACIÓN A DISTANCIA.

El antecedente directo de la educación a distancia se encuentra en la llamada educación por correspondencia, cuya definición es la siguiente:
"Modalidad de enseñanza a distancia. Actividad planeada y sistematizada que incluye la selección, preparacióny presentación del material didáctico impreso, así como la enseñanza y supervisión de los estudios, mediando entre maestro y alumno una separación espacial. Tuvo su origen en el siglo XIX, en Alemania, Inglaterra y Norteamérica. Nació con el propósito de ayudar en la instrucción de personas que por circunstancias diversas les era muy difícil asistir a la enseñanza presencial.
