Enayo trauma

Traumatic experiences make it difficult for an individual to withstand
the test of times . It absolutely posts a challenge to faith , shake the
foundations of our beliefs on safety , and shatters assumptions on trust .
Trauma reactions come with unusually disturbing , strange and crazy-like
behavior that are typical and predictable which are considered as normal
responsesto abnormal events . If symptoms persist for several months in
the absence of professional help , disturbing experiences avoidance
strategy prevailing methodology may interfere postponement of needed
intervention allowing room for avoidance defenses to develop and work on
patient practically rather difficult .
What is trauma ? We create meaning to understand terminology out of thecontext and illustrations in which these events occur and trauma is
likely to develop as a response of the individual to a particular
unacceptable event . Trauma evolves from exposure of life-threatening
experiences concerning life or death issues of survival commonly
exhibited as a result of stress and terror . In some instances where the
abuse is not life threatening , such as betrayal bysomeone one depended
for survival as a child or as a partner , may produce similar effects
arising from emotionally traumatic experiences where strong emotions of
fear , helplessness , and horror are ascertained to contribute to the
disorder .
Flashbacks or nightmares dissociates every affected individual to some
degree producing stress even on professionals and disaster rescueworkers who experienced an overdose witnessing of victims suffering from
compassion fatigue and burn out affecting livelihood and careers of
these people who even had considerable training working with disaster
and trauma survivors . It is difficult to visualize the struggle of an
individual to survive in a hostile or life threatening environment , in
each cases trauma seems to be a majorproblem emerging out of the
experience . There is a chain of relationship on trauma , impact of
experience , and explorations of memories usually done by recapturing
engraved disheartening memories of the past .
Trauma is generally defined to be the response , immediate or sometimes
delayed , of an individual to overwhelming events which usually takes the
form of repeated hallucinations ,nightmares , predictable abnormal
thoughts or behavior coming out from the experience on possible numbing
and increased stimuli recollection of the undesirable event . The
pathology of which consists solely in the structure of its experience or
reception where the event is assimilated through repeated possession of
the one who experiences it (Caruth 1995 .
Traumatization is a precisepossession by an image or event from which
symptoms exhibited are more than plain distortion of reality which lends
to unconscious meaning of reality where an individual tries every effort
to repress . This is relatively displayed in the form of dreams which has
the strong characteristic of binding and bringing the individual back
into the situation or incident he wishes to suppress . Thetraumatized
individual carries an impossible history within themselves that they
become the symptom of a history they cannot entirely possess .
Trauma is a natural part of the human condition that seem to break
connection..

A repressed memory is the memory of a traumatic incident unconsciously reserved in the mind, where it is said to unfavorably affectconscious thought, desire, and action (Carroll 1).
