One flew over the cuckoo’s nest
(Essay)
Kensy´s novel (one flew over the cukcoo´s nest)
Rebellion como herramienta de lucha que apela a un principio de justicia. Referancias históricas.
We need a revolution, but it’s not really a revolution until someone gets hurt. We need some pain, and we needeveryone to feel it.

Historically, rebellion against an oppressor power has played a fundamental role for the development of societies. According to Marx, rebellions are the engine of history. Unfortunately, there is not rebellion without pain and without someone who feels it. Martin Lutter King for example, was a rebel who participated as an activist in some protests against Vietnam War and also against poverty, he also participated in a number of pacific activities claiming right to vote, no discrimination and some others basic civil rights for afro-American people in the United States. He said:“everyone has the moral responsibility to disobey the unfair laws”. However, he was murdered. Mahatma Gandhi was another revel figure. He fought for his country´s independency looking for improving the situation for the citizens, but sadly, he was also murdered. So, why to revel against the injustice of an oppressor power looking for positive things is taken as a threaten for this intolerable world. The main objective of a revolution is to destabilize an oppressor system looking in that way the respect for the fundamental rights of the people, like free expression for example. Kensey´s novel (one flew over the cuckoo´s nest) is a revolution sample against an oppressive system. In my opinion this novel represents in a clear way the social behavior, where society is divided into socialclasses, where power is used in a negative an unproductive way. Nurse Ratched for example, represents the oppressive mechanization, dehumanization of society. In fact, chief Bromden the narrator refers to her as the “big nurse” remarking her notorious authority. At the hospital she has complete control over every aspect of the ward and she also knows patients´ weak spots and exactly where to touch.(according to the notes listed by various patients in the log, Mr. Harding has been heard to say “dam well gives the bastards reason to stare .” he has also been heard to say that he may give her reason to seek further sexual attention. He has been heard to say , “my dear sweet but illiterate wife thinks any word or gesture that does not smack of brickyard brawn and brutality is a word orgesture of weak dandyism.´” she continues reading silently the book for a while, then closes it.
“He has also stated that his wife´s ample bosom at times gives him a feeling of inferiority. So. Does anyone care to touch upon this subject further?” (page 43)). In the same way, patients represent a repressed society judged by their independent trends and thoughts, classified as undesirable and evendangerous people. Creating on them fear and lack of self confidence feelings. (I thought at first that he was laughing because of how funny it looked, an Indian’s face and black, oily Indian’s hair on somebody like me. I thought maybe he was laughing at how weak I looked.) (Page 26).
Like in society, in the novel appears a revel figure which is shown by Mc Murphy who represents freedom and...
