I was sitting in the first row of the class, when the teacher handed me a piece of paper with the name of the person I was goingto interview that read Abraham. I did not know who he was so I asked the teacher if she could tell me. He raised his hand and came to mytable. I never noticed him before, I was wondering if it was me being too focused in the class and trying to understand every word thatthe teacher is saying or it was him being too quite. We set up a time to meet and interviewed each other. I interviewed him on September10th. We had a great time talking about his hometown, family, interest and future plans.
On a sunny and beautiful morning Abraham and Imet around campus, we both were on time. I decide to walk in front of the communications building where there is a little park and sit totalk. I am very happy than Abraham shows up on time for the interview. This is an American value that I admire very much. In mycountry Peru people are used to being late all the time . For me that my classmate was on time means that he cares about other person’s time andis a responsible person. When I start the interview I ask him his name because I have been calling him all the time Abraham, he told methat his full name is John Ferguson Abraham, he is from Knoxville, Tennessee which is a State in the south of The United States of America.
