El documental nos habla de la revolución de la primavera que inicia en 2011 de Tunes a Egipto. Tambiénun erudita americano llamado Gene Sharp que durante más de 50 años ha ayudado a los pueblos a derrocar a sus dictadores sus tácticas no violentas son muy relevantes. En 1983 fundó una institución llamada Albert Einstein dedicada a la lucha de no violencia. Él le escribió a Albert Einstein comunicándole lo que iba a ser y que sería encarcelado y en 1953 por reusar su participación a la guerra decorea fue encarcelado y condenado a dos años de prisión de los cuales solo estuvo nueve meses y diez días.
La resistencia no violenta ha ayudado a muchos estados y países aun que algunos comentan que la resistencia no violenta es un frase que disfraza el movimiento que dan violencia y muertes.
