There has been a severe health problem in our society andcontinue growing nowadays. On of the most frequent addiction young and adults present is the abuse of alcohol. Depress and anxious people drink to control and face these symptoms; consequently, alcoholbecomes a medicine for them. In fact, alcoholism is a disease condition that people can overcome. Otherwise, this chronic and progressive syndrome may have significant and adverse consequences such asproblems with family, work and health.

First, it is very important that people realize when alcoholism is responsible for family conflicts. Alcoholics, most of the time, live in complete chaos. Inaddition, a large number of families that have problems with alcohol become physically and mentally ill, have feeling of isolation and many get divorce. Children, for example, may have learning disorder,behavior problems, and even worse, suffer from child abuse. Therefore, it’s time to overcome this compulsion to drink.

Second, it is important that people figure out when alcohol abuse leads to jobloss/unemployment or vice versa. There are many alcohol-related reasons to be layoff. For instance, inability to concentrate, poor job performance, decrease competence, repeated absence, injuries,failure to fulfill the obligations at work to say the least. Besides, alcohol-related problems carry an antisocial personality that most people reject. Definitely, it’s time to change the uncontrolledpeople’s drinking behavior.

Lastly, it is important that people deeply understand that alcoholism may cause serious health consequences to the body.
