Laredo, Trujillo is a small city unindustrialized where most of the people are extremely poor. This city is situated in South America, Peru. I remember when I went there with my classmates to one ofthe few schools located in Laredo’s area with the purpose of teach them our religion which is the Catholicism. There were more than one –hundred students that went there to see and learn. Thereweren’t any professor teaching there because they had complained about the children’s behavior. The children were in the range of five to twenty years old. There were only six rooms available for us to teachthem. Each one was pretty small where only fit fifteen desks and there was a big blackboard from one side to other side. And there was also the professor’s desk. The walls were painted with white andcream color. There was only one small size window next to the door where the light was really bright. There was no electricity.

We made groups of four classmates to each twenty students in theclassroom. In my group I met a pretty, quiet and shy girl called Isabella, but everyone used to call her Isa. She was seven years old. She had long curly yellowish hair. She was quite small and thin forher age. She had tan skin and grey beautiful eyes. Isa had five siblings, two sisters and three brothers. The oldest one called Armando was a member of a bevy. I knew this because every child that wasattending that school had a family record. While reading all Isa’s record, I realized that she was doing badly in numbers but she was really good at history and language. She loved writing poems andstories.

My friend Wendy and I were teaching ten of the children. I was with five of them, among them was Isa. After I did the lecture, I gave them a 15 minutes break. All my classmates and Istarted to give the children cookies and yogurt as a meal. Isa was sitting by herself in a corner of the playground. She was hiding her packet of cookies and her yogurt. I approached and talked to her....
