Are you looking for something more than shopping and beaches for entertaining?
That’s why we present a new project to the city, a sustainable pavilion.
The concept for this structure is based on asnail, taking from this, its organic form. Where elements are organized on sequence planes, such a way they follow the shape of a snail built in an open space.
Another aspect talking about materialswe have considered using local materials looking for sustainability, trying to reduce pollution and respecting the ecologic normativity. The pavilion will also take advantage of the natural energiesresources and will implement sustainable elements such as solar panels and a green constructive system.
Some of the constructive systems that could be applied are for example: green roofs, a lightningsystem based on LEDS, a system of a water reduce and water elements.
All of this will generate a best quality construction that will save money in a long term and talking about designing, it createsa microclimate that helps to the user to be more confortable inside the structure.
The pavilion will feature areas for temporary and permanent exhibitions, which will be divided by spaces whichwill work as small galleries destined at specific issues. The access will be clearly identified by the hierarchy represented in its volume. It will also have recreational and open spaces
According tothe different zones, will be established activities such as exhibitions of works by author or subject, which can be more specific, for example about the history, evolution, growth or relevant andimportant aspects of the city, which are of general interest. Permanent exhibitions or galleries will show photos, pictures, objects and other historical references to the city of Cancun.
