Pennywise the Clown
Pennywise the Clown, also called Bob Gray and known to his enemies as that (in English, It), is a fictional character created by writer Stephen King for horror novel It, which is the main antagonist and villain. He was played by British actor Tim Curry in the film It, based on the novel by King.
Description:
Pennywise has no fixed form, but usually appearing usually as aclown. While in the novel is described as a cross between Bozo and Ronald McDonald, dressed in a suit entirely silver with orange buttons, in the movie he looks like a clown bald, with white face, red hair around the head, a red nose, a ruff, yellow suspenders with orange buttons, and white gloves, from time to time carries balloons in his hand.
On numerous occasions he usually appear brownfangs to scare their victims, which has become a very dreaded by viewers. Many people started being” coulrofóbicos “because of characters like It, which is now a very popular icon among all murderers clowns. It has a very strange sense of humor. They usually laugh and tell jokes grotesque.
Character History:
Pennywise is an ancient monster created before the formation of the universe itself, in aplace called "macrocosm" (which he calls "swamp gas"), and his true form was never seen. What's more: you may not have a defined physical appearance. This reason makes it known that (It, in English). The image that most often assumes is that of a clown. In his underground lair takes the form of a monstrous spider, which is what is mostly close to what could be their looks "real", that is the onethat can be seen with the "Losers", without them going nuts. Also usually appears under the figure of some animals or things, which constitute the worst fears of some of the characters in the plot.
The monster came into our world as a meteorite in prehistoric times, in the place where many years later would the people of Derry. When humans began to colonize the place, Gray wakes, feeds, and adopts ahibernation cycle, repeated about every three decades. Every time ceases hibernation stage, it happens a terrible wave of violence, repeated when he goes back to sleep.
1715-1716: That wakes
1740-1743: It awakens and kills 300 settlers from Derry.
1769-1770: That wakes
1851: That awakened when a man poisons his family and then himself.
1876-1879: That wakes up and goes back to sleep when agroup of lumberjacks dead appears near the Kenduskeag River.
1904-1906: That awake when a woodcutter kills several men with his ax in a bar, then back into hibernation when the Kitchener Ironworks exploded, causing 108 deaths. 88 of them are children looking for Easter eggs.
1924-1930: That wakes up when a group of gangsters were shot by several people of Derry. Back to hibernate when thecounterparty of the Ku Klux Klan set fire to a nightclub African American navy.
1957-1958: That awakens after a storm and a wave of murders occurs. Losers and Pennywise confront him again to hibernate after being defeated by them.
1984-1985: That awakens after three youths attacked a young couple, killing one of them, and devouring Pennywise. Finally theoretically killed by Bill Denbrough, Ben Hanscom,Beverly Marsh and Richie Tozier Eddie Kapsbrack when they, and stage of adulthood, join forces to confront him.
An interesting point is that Pennywise is probably a female, since the "Losers" discovered in 1958 that she is pregnant and when they expire in 1985, Ben Hanscom will destroy their eggs.

Encounters with the Losers Club:
A Bill Denbrough appears to him as a photo of her latebrother. A Ben Hanscom appears to him in the form of his late father. Beverly Marsh hears the voices of the dead children from the sink, and a bubble of blood comes from the pipes, staining to Beverly to explode. Richie Tozier meets the monster werewolf form in when he went to investigate Bill. Kapsbrack Eddie says he met Pennywise as a leper's house Neibolt Street. Mike Hanlon has an encounter with...
