DE LA ESCUELA DE FRANKFURT A LA RECEPCIÓN ACTIVA

Resumen
El presente trabajo es un recorrido por diferentes corrientes del pensamiento occidental y
algunos aspectos que las mismas han aportado al campo de la comunicación. De manera
específica nosreferimos a la Escuela de Frankfurt, Corriente Culturológica; autores
representativos de la recepción activa en América Latina y las reflexiones de Paulo Freire
en ese ámbito.
Entre otros propósitos, pretendemos revisar e identificar las aportaciones que las anteriores
corrientes del pensamiento han realizado en el terreno de la comunicación y de la recepción
activa en específico. A través delpresente texto queremos seguir indagando sobre estas
escuelas y otras que de manera directa o indirecta han aportado con su visión crítica
elementos en el terreno de la comunicación y recepción.
También es relevante la Escuela de Frankfurt pues bajo esa visión crítica de analizar a la
sociedad en conjunto, son los primeros pensadores quienes aportan diversos elementos para
conocer la incipientesociedad industrial y de consumo que ha dado pie a un número
infinito de ensayos.
Nuestra metodología parte de buscar textos clásicos del tema, los cuales citamos e
incluimos en la bibliografía correspondiente, así como recurrir a algunos aspectos de la
investigación cualitativa y aplicar al presente artículo.
Del mismo modo es importante reconocer y concluir como algunas reflexiones de ciertascorrientes del pensamiento van siendo superadas por nuevas tendencias en ese campo.

Abstract
The present document is a workaround the different ways of the occidental thinking, and
some aspects they have contributed to the field of communication. Specifically referring to
the Frankfurt School, current culturalogistic; authorsrepresent the active reception in Latin
America and Paulo’s Freire’s reflections in this area.
Among other purposes, we pretend to review and identify contributions that older currents
of thought have been made in the field of communication and the specific active reception.
Through the present document we want to follow the investigation over these schools and
others that directly or indirectly havecontributed elements with its critic vision in the fields
of communication and reception.
It’s also relevant as Frankfurt School, with its critic vision of analyzing the society as a
whole, are the first thinkers who contributed several elements to get to know the incipient
consumer industry society that has given entry to unlimited number of lectures.

Our methodology consist in searching classic essays on the subject, which are quoted and
included in the proper bibliography, even requesting to some qualitative aspects of the
investigation and apply them on the present sheet.
It’s importantto acknowledge and conclude how some thoughts of certain ways of thinking
that are being left behind by the new tendencies in this field.
