Which of the stages outlined above has your country experienced? Has it developed in a completely different way?

I consider that the Target Situation Analysis stage was practicedin our country, because the small countries adopt strategies of the bigger and powerful countries.
When people specialize in a particular area, can provide more knowledge and professionalism to thesuccessful development of this area or field, thus, everyone lend their services according to their professional or needs.
As a result of, the country has made great strides in many areas such aseducation, health, tourism, etc. This allows us to demonstrate that the study or preparation in a specific field is better, especially, because we can offer a quality service.

Why do you think EST hasset the trends in the development of ESP?

Because, with EST the people felt the necessity to learn English for to read instruction manuals about technology or science, this has set the trends inthe development of ESP. because, people now be prepare in a specific area, according their needs and interests.


How far would you agree with widdwson and Allen’s assertion (pp.10-11)
I amcompletely agree with Widdwson and Allen´s assertion, because, in most cases when we use a single sentence, we cannot express, that we want to convey to people, for that, is important to use the quantitysentences like we consider necessary in a speech that our words express the message that we need to inform others.
