ESSAY GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Higher education and institutions have been transformed by la globalization; higher education has always been more internationally open most sectorsbecause of the necessity of the knowledge. Many higher education institutions have become central to the changes in many countries in which worldwide networking and exchange are reshaping social,economic and cultural life. In global knowledge economies, higher education institutions are more important than ever as mediums for a wide range of cross-border relationships and continuous global flowsof people, information, knowledge, technologies, products and financial capital.
The higher education has two conceptions a broad and other narrow. In the first one the education helps to transform tothe citizens. In the second the education is considered as an economic element. The impact of the globalization within higher education must be a global society. Universities which involved withtheir projects must demonstrate their capacity to comply with certain requirements such as goals, ability to design and deliver a proposed new module.
The global perspectives promote ways ofunderstanding society with the connections between local and wider world issues. It very important that universities with their modules help to contribute in order to students can prepare both the intellectualand the ethical to contribute to the formation of their lives. There are two indicators signal to know that a higher institution’s commitment to global responsibility; the first is the learning outcomeswhich are important the knowledge, social and practical skills and values and attitudes of the individual. The second is the performance indicators in which is relevant the mission of theinstitutions, the social and environmental impact and the economic.
