THE PRACTICE OF READING AS A SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE

In this essay I will try to establish that reading is an important way to learn all that people want. This work presents some different affirmativesentences that confirm the main idea in the essay. Along the complete work, the reader will find the explanation of some important facts in the reading process. Also we shall examine a shortdescription about reading and how it influences the teaching - learning process. The reader will find a number of conclusions reached during the preparation of the document in order to enrich the informationpresented.

Reading is deciphered, interpret, understand and imagine a letter that can be presented as text, image, color, size, smell, etc. Through the reading is done to decipher the meaning ofwhat is read only if you are in a code that is understandable to the reader. On the other hand, interpret what is read is to make sense of the text, so that the reader will have the ability to makecomments or provide an explanation about it. Therefore, reading can acquire knowledge that can eventually be transmitted or, remain in the reader's memory for later use.

All the free human activitieslike reading are not transferable and personal and the benefit obtained from them is varied. Speaking of reading, understanding a text depends on the reader’s ability to understand what the authormeans; this requires that the reader has had a full contact with other types of texts, authors and works that allow you to reach real understanding. When we are reading the story, we are imagining allthat it is narrated or described by the author, and then the reader represents, invent or create "something" in his imagination. According with this, we are assuming that in order to become a goodreader is necessary to have more extensive vocabulary, imagination and desire to penetrate in the reading world to understand the text.
