“THE DEVELOPED OF LITERATURE, WRITERS AND THEME OF THE NOVELS OUTSIDEAND INSIDE SPAIN”

On the one hand, we must speak of the writers to end the civil warhad to go into exile because of political differences.
Indeed, much of them had declared in favor of the republic, some had even participated in political positions, which precluded them their stay inSpain due to the political regime imposed on the date.
The exiled writers develop their works away from the main lines of the Spanish literary tradition, making it difficult to relate to theliterature of Spain.

Regarding the exile we can distinguish three types or stages: the first exile (1936)with authors such as Ortega y Gasset, Pío Baroja or Pérez de Ayala, who fled the civil war and return to the country after this. The second exile (1939) characterized by authors fleeing politicalrepression later. This was the larguest one, whose authors were not going to Spain since 1975. The third and final exile (1950 onwards) is composed of authors faced politically with the regime who leavethe country because of the repression: Fernando Arrabal and Juan Goytisolo are two examples.
As for the features of the literature of exile can not talk about unity, since each author lived indifferent environments and conditions to the rest. However, if there are common elements that links this movement: nostalgic feeling of Spain and postwar time; appearance of the theme of childhood asparadise front to the hell of ripeness; continuation of vanguards techniques.
